Fulfillment Process
Picking
When an order is placed, it is retrieved from inventory in the warehouse. If there are multiple items in the order, it is picked at the same time to be packaged together for cost savings. Then it is handed off to the packing station to be packed.
Packing
Once the items have been picked, they are then packed into appropriate packaging materials, such as boxes, envelopes, or other containers with appropriate void filler. Working with GCF will get you bulk discounts on packaging materials.
Shipping
After the items have been packed, they are sealed, labeled, and prepared for shipment. This involves selecting the appropriate shipping method based on customer requirements and is handed over to the shipping carrier for delivery to the customer.
